WHAT A WONDERFUL EVENING
Judging by the reaction of the huge crowd our outdoor show
at Newstead Abbey near Nottingham - it was a great success.
Thankfully the rain kept away and the sun continued to shine.
Atmosphere generated by the end of the show was electric
and all we can say is - roll on Sunday 10th August 2008 !

Tickets are selling very quickly for the big summer event.
Excitement is mounting for our biggest show of the year
at a truly magnificent venue in rural Nottinghamshire.

Q1 Where is Newstead Abbey ?
It is situated at beautiful Ravenshead 12 miles North of Nottingham on the A60 road to Mansfield.
Q2 How can I get there ?
From Nottingham catch the Stagecoach bus 737 or Trent Barton 141 which drops you off outside the main gates of the abbey.
It is approximately a mile walk from the main gates on the A60 to the abbey.
Newstead train station is approximately just over a mile walk but there is only access from the main entrance on he A60.
Q3 What is the cost of admission ?
Advance tickets are £15 and it is £20 on the day.
Children under 12 accompanied by an adult get in free.

Please note that the first 3 charge booking fees as they are professional outlets with all the facilities and business costs.
The last 3 do not charge fees as they are just trying to help people who would prefer to collect them from different areas.
Q5 What time does it start and finish ?
Gates open at 5.30pm
Show starts at 6.30pm
Including a break The Rat Pack will finish by 9pm
After Show Party will run from 9pm to 11pm.
Q6 Can I meet the cast and maybe have a picture taken at the after show party ?
Sure !
Q7 Is there on site parking and if so how much is it ?
Yes there is on site parking and it is complimentary.
Q8 What is the smoking policy ?
This is a non smoking event.
Q9 Can I bring my own food and drink ?
Of course - this is a picnic in the park !
Q10 Will food and drink be available to buy on the night.
Yes it will, at sensible prices too - e.g. beer at £2.50 per pint.
Q11 What if it rains - will the show still go ahead ?
Yes it will as the stage is covered and if we think that it is definitely going to rain, a marquee should erected to give more cover.
Q12 Are there any chairs ?
No - you are welcome to bring your own or preferably a blanket to sit on the lawn..
Q13 Is there any bad language which would be embarrassing for a family ?
Certainly not !
Q14 Will the park and abbey be open as normal in the afternoon ?
Yes - park and gardens till 4pm and cafeteria till 5.30pm
Q15 Is the show really totally live ?
Yes totally every note both musically and vocally.
Q16 Is there any chance of a free sneak preview of the show
